Over the last three years, our work has impacted 400,000 patients and their families.

Javascript developer with an interest in UX

Medic Mobile is hiring a full-time javascript developer with an interest in UX. We are building a web based software product (Medic Dashboard) to help community based healthcare services in the developing world. We are leveraging two main technologies, CouchDB and the Kanso Framework. We are looking for a Javascript developer that also has an interest in UX (user experience).

The Team: We are four software developers working in North America (Vancouver, Portland, Austin and Chicago). We also collaborate with our field coordinators working throughout Africa for requirements analysis.

The Environment: All our major products are licensed under the Apache License, we want to solve problems, not sell software. We are a distributed non-profit, meaning we have no central office. We use IRC, Skype, Linode and Github primarily to get work done. We like vim.
